This Standard specifies the steel and nickel-chromium ferro-alloy seamless pipe fit-
tings to be fitted by butt-welding, mainly to pressure service pipings 11, high pressure
service pipings , high temperature service pipings , alloy steel pipings , stainless steel
pipings, low temperature service pipings and steel pipes for fired heaters (here-
after referred to as "pipe fittings").
The special quality specification, a part of or all of which may be designated by the
a greement between the purchaser and the manufacturer, is given in .Annex.J.A.. a.nd the
requirements of special pttinge are specified in Aneex JB: The shapes and
dimensions of special bevel ends are described in Annex JC for informative reference.
